Why I do this

work

I do this work for the women who have always been the strong ones. The firsts, the caretakers, the overachievers who now crave space to feel, unravel, and reconnect with themselves without shame. My background as a first-generation Mexican-American woman, and my life across two homelands (California and Puerto Rico) deeply inform how I hold space: with cultural awareness, emotional nuance, and an understanding of what it means to navigate multiple identities. I advocate for women who are ready to break cycles, trust their inner knowing, and redefine healing on their own terms.

I am a bilingual clinical psychologist offering virtual therapy in both English, Spanish, or Spanglish. My services are available to clients located in:

All sessions are held through Simple Practice, a secure telehealth platform, providing accessible, culturally-responsive care from the comfort of your home.

Individual Therapy:

A virtual, bilingual space for adult women navigating anxiety, burnout, identity wounds, or emotional disconnection. These 50-60 minute sessions combine trauma-informed care, somatic practices, and depth-oriented talk therapy to support healing that’s not just mental, but embodied and ancestral.

Through collaboration, cultural humility, intuition, and the understanding that healing isn’t linear or one-size-fits-all, we create a space where your full story is welcomed, your voice is honored, and healing unfolds at your pace.

This is a space to move beyond survival, reclaim your intuition, and live more connected, confident, and whole.

Couples Therapy:

For partners navigating disconnection, trust issues, miscommunication, or life transitions like parenting and healing from past wounds. I support couples who want to feel emotionally closer, not just function better.

Our 50-60 minute sessions are virtual and bilingual, using a blend of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method tools, somatic work, and experiential practices like inner child and parts work. We go beyond surface-level fixes to rebuild emotional safety, deepen empathy, and create space for real connection.

Whether you’re healing after a rupture or learning to stay connected in the everyday, this is a space where both partners can feel seen, heard, and safe to grow- together.

FAQ

  • While my practice centers on supporting women and femmes, I also work with individuals who resonate with my approach- including men, queer folks, and those exploring gender or cultural identity. My focus is on creating a safe, affirming space for anyone doing deep, identity-rooted healing.

  • At this time, all services are offered virtually. Sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to connect from the comfort of your home- or wherever you feel safe and grounded. Many clients appreciate the flexibility and emotional safety that virtual therapy provides, especially when exploring culturally and personally complex topics.

  • I integrate trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, parts work, and culturally-responsive practices to support deep healing. My work is both intuitive and structured- grounded in science, but shaped by culture, lived experience, and ancestral knowing. You won’t just talk; you’ll feel, process, and reconnect to the wisdom already inside you.

  • In Texas, I currently accept several insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, UMR, Optum, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, among others. In Puerto Rico, I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide superbills for clients to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Yes. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. You’re welcome to express yourself in whichever language (or mix of both) feels most natural to you. Language is deeply tied to identity, and our work will honor that.
