Our Vision
My vision is to be a refuge rooted in cultura, where women are gently guided back to themselves- body, voice, and spirit. Here, healing is not rushed. It unfolds with care, honoring the stories we carry and the wisdom we inherit. This work is about more than symptom relief- it’s about awakening wholeness, reclaiming identity, and restoring emotional freedom. Because as each woman reconnects with her truth and inner rhythm, she not only transforms her own life, she brings healing to her relationships, her lineage, and the world around her.
our values
Rootedness
I honor the cultural, ancestral, and personal roots that shape my clients' lives. Healing doesn’t mean cutting away your past- it means reclaiming your story and standing in it with power.
Wholeness
I believe that healing includes the body, spirit, and emotions- not just the mind. I integrate somatic, intuitive, and evidence-based approaches that support your whole self.
Integrity
I practice what I guide. I stay committed to my own growth and make sure our work together is grounded in honesty, transparency, and ethical care.
Liberation
Healing is a personal act of freedom. I help clients break free from internalized oppression, emotional avoidance, and perfectionism so they can live in alignment with their truth.
Compassion
I create spaces where vulnerability is welcomed, not judged. My work is grounded in warmth, humanity, and deep listening.
About
These lived experiences are woven into the heart of Quirón Psychology, a virtual space where mujeres can lay down what they’ve been carrying, reconnect with their voice and intuition, and heal in a way that honors both their story and their roots. My clinical work is shaped by years of training in trauma, women’s mental health, and integrative mind-body approaches. But, just as importantly, by the belief that healing is a cultural, spiritual, and deeply human process.
This isn’t just about “feeling better.” It’s about coming home to yourself.
I’m Dra. Stephanie Mendoza (she/her/ella), a bilingual, licensed clinical psychologist serving clients in both Puerto Rico and Texas. As a first-generation Mexican-American daughter of immigrants, I know what it’s like to carry stories that were never fully spoken- and to be praised for strength while silently battling disconnection, burnout, or cultural expectations that don’t leave room for softness or self-inquiry.

CULTURAL FACTS
This work is personal because I come from the very communities I serve. As a Mexican-American, first-generation daughter of immigrants (and a mujer who’s been living in Puerto Rico since 2010) I understand what it means to straddle cultures, languages, expectations, and silences. I know the pride and pressure that come with being “the first,” and how easy it is to disconnect from your needs, your body, or your voice when survival has always come first.
My work was built from that knowing- from the emotional weight many of us carry as women, as daughters, as professionals, as caregivers.
This practice honors the resilience we come from, while creating space for softness, complexity, and healing on our own terms. It’s about remembering that our stories are sacred and that healing them is not just possible, but revolutionary.
